Register Your Interest in the 2020 SDG Action Labs

The COVID-19 crisis has exposed and agitated existing gaps in the global ecosystem, with unprecedented business closures and job loss causing business leaders to reevaluate long-term strategies, operations and commitments. To ensure a successful rebuild, leadership from the private sector - in cooperation with governments and civil society - will be needed to progress implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The SDG Action Labs hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce enable, inspire and accelerate business-led implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Our second round of SDG Action Labs held virtually on the margins of the UN’s High-Level Political Forum in July 2020 will showcase pioneering business leaders taking bold action on key SDG targets and catalyze peer-to-peer discussions in implementing sustainable solutions. The discussions will highlight the role of sustainable development in resilience and recovery efforts during the economic rebuild and identify policy frameworks that will help to further enable implementation of the SDGs.

These invitation-only, virtual gatherings of peer groups of business leaders will provide a platform to share challenges and opportunities in integrating sustainability into their business models. Discussions will focus on critical issues to consider when developing COVID-19 recovery strategies and draw out public policy measures needed to enable sustainable and resilient corporate recoveries at scale. Led by a small group of business leaders, participants will respond to polls and join the discussion in real-time.
